ペーパークイリングとは

ペーパークイリングとは、細長い紙をクルクルと巻いてうずまき型の形にし、それをいくつも組み合わせて、形を作っていくペーパークラフトのことなんです。

ペーパークイリングの作り方

 用意するモノ

• つまようじ（ボンドをすくってパーツをのりづけ）
• のり皿（シリコン製のカップ、小さいビニール袋などがオススメ）
• 木工用ボンド
• ピンセット（組み立てや、形を整えるときに）
• カッター
• ハサミ（切り込みを入れる）
• 針（またはクイリングバー）
• デザインボード（コルクボードや発泡スチロールボード）
• 定規
• 円定規（100均にも売っています。パーツの大きさを揃えるのに便利）

クイリングバーは700～1,000円くらいで売っている専用の道具が便利です。無い場合は、まち針に巻き付けたりしても作れます。

基本パーツの作り方

巻き方1『タイトサークル』

1. クイリングバーの切り込みに、ペーパーの先端を少し残してはさみこむ
2. 巻きがずれないように指で押さえ、くるくる回して巻いていく
3. 巻き終わったら、巻き終わりをしっかり押さえながらバーから抜き取って外す
4. ペーパーの端をボンドで留める

 つまようじを活用した巻き方

クイリングバーはちょっと高くて。。。という方は、つまようじで代用できますので、そのやり方をご紹介します。

まず爪楊枝のとがった方を少しカットし、カッターで縦に切り込みを入れます。切り込みさえ入れたら、あとはクイリングバーと同じで、その切れ込みにペーパーをはさみこめばOK。

ウェディングで使えるお花制作

基本の巻き方をちょっと工夫すると、ウェディングシーンなどで活躍するお花のペーパークイリングを

このようなお花は、先ほどの基本「ルーズサークル」の応用で作ることができます。

ルーズサークルの中心を端に寄せて、その逆側をしっかりつぶすと「ティアドロップ」になります。
このティアドロップをいくつか作って花びらにし、中心にタイトサークルを花心としてつけたら完成。
